I believe it's about a 35 minute walk but you can catch a bus. I would recommend visiting in the morning when the butterflies are more lively.

Take a taxi and it will be reasonable to make it to the butterfly garden and back to your cruise in a good time frame.

SinceThe Butterfly Farm and the island itself are quite small, if you have a car or 4x4, it is so easy to just stop by there an spend may be an hour max to get to see it. We were not sure how to get there and didn’t have a connection, so we just downloaded Google Maps offline for Aruba and used the navigation like that everywhere.
