The Diamond Bar Golf Course in Diamond Bar, California was built in the 1960s and is part of the history of the Diamond Bar Ranch. The course was designed by William Francis Bell and is owned by the County of Los Angeles Parks and Recreation Department. This Par 72, 18-hole championship course, features new bent grass greens, kikuyu fairways and bermuda tees. Trees line most holes for added difficulty at all levels. In 2021 the course closed for 18 months for renovations. Renovations included the installation of new tees and sand traps, a new maintenance facility, and a new irrigation system. The source of the renovation is the requirement for freeway improvements to the SR-57/SR-60 Confluence Project. The golf course reopened in April 2024 and the facilities are ready to host golf tournaments, private events and lessons on the night lit driving range.
