帕皮提是法国海外集体法属波利尼西亚向风群岛行政区的一个市镇，也是法属波利尼西亚的首府，位于塔希提岛。帕皮提是法属波利尼西亚的政务、商务、旅游、交通、金融和工业中心，法属波利尼西亚主席和法国高级专员居住于此。 1820年，塔希提王国女王波马雷四世在此营造新都，是为帕皮提建城之始，1842年塔希提沦为法国保护国后仍然以帕皮提为都。许多名人，如赫尔曼·梅尔维尔、保罗·高更、罗伯特·路易斯·史蒂文森等均在帕皮提居留过一段时间。1884年因为火灾，1906年因为飓风，帕皮提两度被毁。
