These boat in sumilon island like Vangies boat are a bit of a rif off if your 2-3 person they will charge you 1500 for 15 min boat ride 2 ways But if you are a group of 10 pax they will charge you 2000 pesos so 200 each perperson next time you are going to sumilon wait for other big group and ask them to say your in the same group as them so the boat will be cheaper . I ahve filed a formal complain to DOT about this scam as its not fare what they are charging . 1500 for 3 person is quite a lot for 15 min boat ride especially if there is another 20 pax in the same boat if they at least give you one boat to your self you wouldnt mind paying the 1500 but you dont so its a rif off

1500peso is for return boat transfer + usage of hotel facilities and private beach + lunch. Another cheaper alternative is 900peso for return boat transfer + usage of public beach area. I would not recommend second option as the area has got no shaded place for you to hang around (it is really hot and sunny at the island) and the beach area is really really small. You can't even get a spot to suntan. Plus the water at this beach is full of corals that it is so hard for you to walk there. Pay a little more and enjoy the facilities at the hotel.
