Was an extremely hot day when we toured this on our own. So much history, but also so much walking. A must see when in Valetta to truly get a feel for what it was like back then defending the port. JennC1212的完整评论

Not properly you will only get the impression of its strategic location and you will not see anything of the WW2 exhibition which for me was the main reason for the visit.
Can I buy the Multi site Valletta ticket at the museum or does it have to be online? Do I need I.D. to prove I am a “senior “? I like to believe I don’t look my age. Thank you

I would take ID in case. At the museum you could combine a ticket to include the malta experience

I couldn't get down there when I went a couple of weeks ago. Looked like a film set and pretty run down. Just uploaded a picture of that area from the upper fort.
What are the circular pedestals in front of the fort?

You might be talking about the grain storage built by the knights.The tops are raised and circular. These were sealed granarys that were only openedwhen needed
