Hiking the full length of Honey Valley (also called Love Valley) to Uchisar is approximately 5 km. You reach Honey Valley by walking toward the Open Air Museum. It can get very muddy so wear good hiking boots. I hiked into Pigeon Valley from Goreme but the path was not well marked so I scrambled up to the main road at the lookout and walked on to Uchisar. The distance is about 6 km if you walk from the back of Uchisar through Pidgeon Valley to Goreme. You could make it a full day outing, starting at Honey Valley, lunching in Uchisar and visiting the Castle then hiking back through Pigeon Valley. Wear hiking boots and carry water on this "out of this world landscape" hike.
