Firefly Aerospace’s Blue Ghost commercial lander has gone dark on the moon as planned, but not before sending back spectacular views of the lunar sunset

Firefly's Blue Ghost Mission 1, which lasted about 14 days, or the equivalent of one lunar day, marks the longest commercial mission on the Moon to date, according to company.

Blue Ghost, a private lunar lander from Austin-based Firefly, captured the first high-definition sunset pictures from the moon before it fell silent.
