Trustees for Fort Bend ISD, a Houston-area district that touts itself as one of the most culturally diverse school districts in Texas, did not vote on the controversial curriculum Monday and did not indicate if or when they plan to take such a vote.

Community members gathered at the March 17 agenda review meeting to express concerns of religious references and academic quality, while officials said the district has no implementation plan at this time.
