Firefighters were still on scene at about 1:10 p.m. and were in contact with the National Transportation Safety Board, which investigates all aircraft crashes

Police and the Deep River Fire Department responded at 4:15 p.m. for an aircraft that had crashed on Cedar Lake Road, also known as Route 145, police said. A LifeStar helicopter has been dispatched to the scene, police said. Injuries have been reported in the crash, though the extent of those was not immediately known, police said.

Nobody was injured when an aircraft with two people on board crashed in Contra Costa County late Saturday morning.
