In Belgium no less (home of the best beer in the world). Because canals in Europe are the waters between worlds. They are a reminder of the interconnectedness of people, places, and even time itself.

But here we are, on a canal trip through Belgium. And I can confidently say this country has elevated beer to an art form and possibly a religion. Now, before I go losing all my non beer drinkers ...
