New Delhi: Delhi High Court has asked Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to furnish a detailed status report on alleged unauthorised construction in bustling markets inside Chandni Chowk.

Chandni Chowk, a bustling, but charming, market in Old Delhi, is steeped in history. This old bazaar houses textiles, jewelry, spices and traditional Indian clothes such as sarees and lehengas.
