President Donald Trump will encourage illegal immigrants to "self-deport the easy way" using a new app in a video set to release on social media this week.

Though Trump's executive order extending the ban on the platform went into effect on Jan. 20, TikTok remained unavailable to download from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store until Feb.

CBP Home is a phone app previously used for people seeking asylum in the U.S. It has now been revived by the Trump Administration with a different purpose than when it was created as CBP One.
