Overnight rains flooded parts of South Padre Island on March 26, leading some businesses to announce closures in South Texas.

Waves of downpours and thunderstorms continue across South Texas, driving a flooding and severe weather risk through late Friday. Some places could see up to a foot of rainfall, while others may face a low-end tornado risk.
