The biggest issue is moisture. An air fryer's fast-moving convection heat can cause meat and certain vegetables to dry out. Leafy greens, lean meats and certain seafoods, for instance, are no longer welcome in my air fryer. Here are eight foods I recommend cooking somewhere else.

Of course, there are definitely some foods you aren't cooking in your air fryer but should be, and then there are others that you maybe never should.

The air fryer is quite a device. It can transform soggy, limp leftovers into crisp, crunchy delights, cook excellent wings, salmon, steaks and chicken breasts, and even make "hard-boiled" eggs. So, of course,
