The Amazon Fire HD 8 is an excellent budget tablet that’s great for playing casual games and watching content. The screen is average, performance is quite slow and Amazon’s user interface isn’t as good as Apple’s iPadOS or native Android, but the design is solid and battery life is good.

Amazon’s Fire HD 10 Tablet checks every box, and happens to be on sale for $95, a steal compared to other e-readers out there that can range anywhere between $150 and up.
