An investigation is underway after two people and a dog were found dead in a vacant Midtown Sacramento building that caught fire early Tuesday morning.

Two people and a dog were found dead after a fire burned through an office building early Tuesday morning in Midtown Sacramento. The fire broke out around 2:30 a.m. at the old railroad office building on the corner of J and 19th streets.
