Nintendo showed players competing and cooperating on a single Switch and across multiple connected systems. In terms of hardware, Nintendo also showed the Switch Pro Controller for the first time.

As such, the notion of every single Switch 2 launch game retailing for €69 or even more seems doubtful. For comparison, a €79 price tag would match the price of new AAA PS5 games in Europe.

Nintendo has a new console on the way, but you can still hang onto those old games. The company has confirmed that the just-announced Switch 2 device will support cartridges from the original Switch.
