PVcase has developed a new solution to calculate expected voltage drop in different PV cable configurations. The solution is available as part of its planning software for ground mount PV systems.

This reduced the voltage drop to roughly 0.26-volt on each side which is close to the ideal spec. Once completed, the engine spun over like it was connected to a 24-volt battery.
