A minor earthquake has hit Yellowstone National Park, and some people in the region experienced a tremor. The magnitude 3.9 earthquake struck near Norris Geyser Basin, which has a history of quakes.

MISSOULA, Mont. — A 3.9 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Norris Geyser Basin in Yellowstone National Park on Tuesday night. The quake was recorded at about 6 p.m.

The 3.7 magnitude earthquake hit near the 150,000-year-old Norris Geyser Basin, home to the famous Steamboat Geyser and Morning Glory Pool
