A six-year-old died in an ATV crash on an Illinois sidewalk while visiting his father, authorities said. According to local media, WGN-TV, Jason Alvarado, a six-year-old child from Texas, was visiting his father for spring break.

Preliminary investigations indicated that the boy was driving a REX110 ATV with an 8-year-old passenger heading northbound on the sidewalk between the 900 and 1000 block of Mission Boulevard.
