Both the Algonac and Cardinal Mooney girls basketball teams want to accomplish the former this season. After battling injuries all throughout last year, the Muskrats are back at full strength.

Madison Grace totaled 22 points and four rebounds to lead Algonac (1-0). Jaycee Reams added a 16-point, 10-rebound double-double. The Muskrats host Burton Bentley at 6 p.m. on Thursday.
