The Global Firepower (GFP) has provided a unique analytical display of data concerning 145 modern military powers since 2006.

India has secured 4th place in the Global Firepower Index 2025 (GFP Index). Meanwhile, Pakistan has dropped from 9th place in 2024 to 12th in the latest rankings.

Among the top 10 most powerful air forces, India is ranked 4th with 2,229 aircraft, following the US, Russia and China.
