Raymond Saunders had a lifelong passion for timepieces but his most famous invention dates back to 1977 — the Gastown Steam Clock. It was one of several steam clocks he built over the years.

Landmark Clocks is the company founded by Ray Saunders, the builder of the Gastown steam clock. He died on Nov. 23, but his assistant, Dylan Myles-Scott, has decided to continue the business.
