Marvin Entel’s letter (Tribune, Feb. 16) regarding habitat loss for salmon and steelhead was interesting, but a large part of the story was not mentioned.

But, worldwide, human activities are responsible for the loss of huge swaths of these valuable habitats. WWF is working with partners to prioritize conservation ... and sustainable use of mangroves.
