The Department of Homeland Security has asked the Internal Revenue Service to provide detailed contact information for thousands of undocumented immigrants who pay their taxes, according to reports.

Experts say that for the estimated 5.29 million Black migrants living in the United States, the risk of detention and deportation is particularly high.
