The Montgomery Police Department has identified the victim in a fatal weekend shooting. Jekobi Douglas, 17, of Montgomery, was found Saturday about 8:26 p.m. Saturday night, said Sgt. Ernestina McGriff, a spokeswoman for the MPD.

A weekend shooting in Montgomery left a teen dead and a man injured. Police and medics responded at 8:26 p.m. Saturday to a report of two people shot in the 1200 block of Eastern Boulevard. Sgt. Tina McGriff said 17-year-old Jekobi Douglas was pronounced dead on the scene.
