Russia’s President Vladimir Putin says that President Donald Trump’s push for control over Greenland wasn’t surprising given longtime U.S. interest in the mineral-rich territory.

Trump told reporters in the Oval Office that the US will "go as far as we have to go" to gain control of Greenland.
