(WHTM) — The Quaker Oats Company has announced that it is expanding its December recall of various granola bars and cereal products for the second time, due to the risk of salmonella contamination.

That was partly because of a big recall of Quaker Oats granola bars and cereals. But customers have also been skipping snacks — or switching to cheaper brands — after years of price increases.
