EA Sports College Football 25 is now available on both Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play, allowing players to try it out. EA Sports typically makes their games available on both subscription services months before the next entry releases.

Gary Danielson, CBS Sports’ lead college football analyst, announced Wednesday that he will retire following the 2025 season. A staple of CBS’ coverage of the SEC, and now Big Ten, for 20 years, he is the longest tenured college football analyst on any network with 35 seasons on the mic.

SMU will not hold a traditional spring game this year. The announcement by head coach Rhett Lashlee on Tuesday comes while other programs around the country have asked the NCAA to allow for NFL-style joint practices.
