Waymo is starting out in Silicon Valley much like it did in San Francisco: it will begin with a small group of customers in Los Altos, Palo Alto, Mountain View and parts of Sunnyvale.

Waymo will start offering robotaxi rides to people in its "Waymo One" early rider program in Mountain View, Los Altos, Palo Alto, and "parts of Sunnyvale"

With Waymo up to 200,000/week, total rides are now well over a million a month. The robotaxi is here. But people mistake it for Uber because it looks like that today.
