M ADISON, Wis. — Billionaire Elon Musk on Friday deleted a social media post in which he had announced plans to hold a rally in Wisconsin to “personally hand over” $2 million to a pair of voters who have already cast their ballots in the state’s hotly contested Supreme Court race.
Musk was accused of a "blatant felony" related to his effort to award money to people who vote in the Wisconsin Supreme Court election.
Elon Musk will visit Wisconsin on Sunday ahead of the state’s high-profile Supreme Court election.
Wisconsin Supreme Court candidates Susan Crawford and Brad Schimel will face off on April 1. The winner will determine a liberal or conservative minority.
