Tens of thousands of protesters filled the streets of Serbia’s capital over the weekend, the culmination of more than four months of demonstrations against the government of President Aleksandar Vucic and what they see as its slow response to a deadly train station collapse in November.

Large crowds of flag-waving protesters converged after meeting up at several agreed-on protest venues in various parts of Belgrade, which was placed on high alert.

The ongoing protests began after the canopy of a railway station collapsed in November, killing 15 people. After President Donald Trump got hit in the face with a boom mic at a press conference at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, he made a prediction.
