DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — A wanted person was shot by a deputy during an altercation over an arrest warrant on Tuesday, according to a Davidson County Sheriff’s Office news release.

According to the Davidson County jail website, Collins was arrested on Monday. He had been being treated at a hospital for a gunshot wound.
