General Motors has announced a recall involving roughly 778,562 Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5 vehicles for an issue that can cause the engine, airbags, and other electronic components to turn off.

The Cobalt was a fairly normal compact car that Chevy offered in North America throughout the 2000s, but the Pontiac G5 was the name given to the model in the Canadian market specifically.
