Google Wallet’s latest update will let kids download the app and use tap-to-pay on Android with parental consent. The feature, which is rolling out over the next few weeks, will also let kids store passes such as event tickets, library cards, and gift cards within the app.

Google Wallet's custom passes got a big upgrade last summer, and they've recently become a feature I can't live without.

The new feature, described in a blog post, lets you add gift or debit cards, event tickets and passes like library cards to a Google child account. Five countries have access at launch, and conveniently the U.S., U.K. and Australia are all on the list.
