HOUSTON — A man was shot and killed at a gas station in southeast Houston late Monday, according to the Houston Police Department. The shooting occurred shortly before 10 p.m. at a Shell gas station near the intersection of South Loop East and Cullen Boulevard.

A large crowd of people fled after shots were fired, but a man who later died was left behind in the chaos, according to police.
