One of the two men who escaped from the Immigrations and Customs Enforcement GEO facility earlier this week in Aurora has been taken into custody. Joel Jose Gonzalez-Gonzalez was taken into custody by the Adams County Sheriff's Office early Friday morning.

The two reportedly escaped after a power outage at the Denver Contract Detention Facility in Aurora unlocked a set of doors. The GEO Group, which runs the facility, said in a statement that the outage may have allowed the two to bypass security and scale a perimeter fence.

One of the men who escaped from the Aurora ICE detention center late Tuesday was arrested early Friday morning, according to the Denver field office of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
