Here is an updated look at the lottery standings after the Philadelphia 76ers fell to the Miami Heat while the Brooklyn Nets picked up a costly win.

The Powerball prize has been growing since January and now one lucky winner could take home over half-billion dollars.

As of this writing, the Nets are sixth in the 2025 NBA Draft Lottery standings, meaning that they have a 37.2% chance of getting the first overall pick in the Draft, otherwise known as the chance to draft Duke forward Cooper Flagg.

On a night when superstar Cooper Flagg struggled to find his shooting touch, Knueppel finished with 21 points, five rebounds, five assists, and three steals to help propel Duke back to the Final Four.

The man won a $200,000 jackpot, on a ticket that he bought for $5 at the Murphy Express gas station/convenience store at 210 Ricky Lane, officials said in a news release. That’s in Columbia — ironically near Clemson Road.

The Nets’ race to the bottom of the standings — and top of the draft lottery — has been a stride-for-stride sprint against the 76ers.

“What in the world?” the North Carolina man said when he scanned his lottery ticket. Edward Daye couldn’t believe his luck. He’d driven from Greensboro to Danville, Virginia, and decided to purchase a Jackson scratcher game which won him a top prize worth $1 million, the Virginia Lottery said in a March 28 news release.

The tickets for Wednesday's midday drawing were sold at Navkar Food Inc. at 69 W. Washington St. in Chicago and Mariano's at 3025 E. New York St. in Aurora.
