Mikel Arteta believes Myles Lewis-Skelly ’s long-term future at Arsenal could be in midfield - despite earning an England call-up for his performances at left-back. Lewis-Skelly has broken into the Arsenal first team this season and his displays led to Thomas Tuchel naming the 18-year-old in his first England squad on Friday morning.

Arteta doesn't want to compare the pairs' journeys but is proud of 18-year-old Lewis-Skelly's maiden England senior call-up.

Skelly, who only made his first-team debut in September, has made 25 appearances for Arsenal across all competitions this season, including eight Premier League starts
