2017年6月29日 · Yeah, I still have my Surface Pro 2 (i5 with 8 GB RAM and 512 GB storage) and it works like a champ. I mainly use it now for movies and web browsing now because I have a Surface Pro 4 and the new Surface Pro. But works great. Battery life is still pretty close to original (which was always kind of average to begin with).

2017年8月16日 · Most of the time when the fan on my Surface Pro 4 kicks in it pulses on/off rather than comes on steady. It never used to do this but has for past couple of months. It is both quite loud and annoying.... as the only way to stop the fan pulsing is to put my Surface to sleep .... until the fan turns off.

Should have researched it more I guess, main reason I picked the Surface Pro 3 up was to replace my MacBook as personal dev machine, not looking too promising right now. Guess I'll have to research some more and mull over my options.
