It is the only consumer CRT television set by Mitsubishi with component inputs. The picture tube was manufactured in Japan, and assembled with the chassis at Mitsubishi's Braselton, GA facility.

Mitsubishi was experimenting with larger CRT models and produced only a few 61-inch CRT TVs. The technology proved to be too unstable and the picture tubes on these TVs did not last long. As a result, they were discontinued quickly.

2023年2月10日 · Mitsubishi introduced 35" crt and Sony had the very close to flat 32" screens. Mitsubishi had their dreadful 40" non line doubled spherical crt that was like watching an image on the top of a balloon.
