2024年1月12日 · Offers HDR400 Black and a “Bright” - max 1000 nit setting for HDR. Very good performance here for OLED, but when compared to the top-tier mini-LED it could not keep up with color volume and brightness (see pics of bells below) on HDR content.

2022年1月4日 · HDR mode actually looks a bit more accurate. The reason for the same grading is to keep the constant distribution. Different displays of HDR 400, HDR 600, and HDR 1000 have different colors when tone mapping applies. For example, the sun is orange in HDR 400 but it looks yellow in HDR 1000.

2022年1月2日 · FALD, HDR 1000, G-Sync ultimate, 4k, 144hz, IPS or OLED. Sane price (<2k) for 32". That's my target. Still waiting. PG32UQX is the closest, but about $500 too much, and some of the specs are a little lackluster. The God monitor is good too - but also $5k. So I'm still waiting.

2024年5月1日 · In regard to your question, HDR 4000, HDR 10,000 material , (and even HDR 1,000 material on screens that can't show it fully) - on screens incapable of showing 10k, 4k, 1k adequately, the screens will map the HDR data to the bottom half or so of the screen's range 1:1, then compress the rest into the remainder of the screen's capability.

2021年4月1日 · Yes currently running win11 with hdr on. - screen picture mode set to "HDR1000" What I found (going back to when I originally had this screen on windows 10) was the desktop was super grey/washed out in reference mode - so I'd switch off "override to reference mode" then applied NVidia control panel tweaked colour settings..... annoying process.

2024年3月21日 · I currently have an Alienware 34" Ultrawide AW3420DW and I am on the edge of buying this monitor. Not sure if I should get this now or wait until future computer OLED monitors have higher sustained nits past 10% window coverage in HDR Mode.
