Latto first appeared on the reality television series, The Rap Game on 2016, when she was known as Miss Mulatto & won the show's first season. Latto's mainstream breakthrough occurred with her 2019 single, Bitch From Da Souf & soon afterwards signing with RCA Records.

American rapper Latto has released three studio albums, three mixtapes, three extended plays, and 18 singles as a lead artist. In 2019, Latto released the debut single "Bitch from da Souf", which became her first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 following a remix with American rappers Saweetie and Trina and was certified 2× Platinum by the RIAA.
