Yes, as long as you are a peace officer that is permitted to carry a firearm as defined in section 2.10 of the criminal procedure law you are exempt from almost all of NYS's prohibitive laws as they pertain to firearms.

New York State police and fire is for police and fire fighters. I don't see how being a lifeguard, even if you did into tier 5, would transfer over to police and fire tier 5. I could be wrong, but doesn't make sense to me. Obviously getting into police and fire tier 5 is def worth the $400 or whatever you would owe over tier 6.

For all you military veterans with active duty time there is a proposed bill in both the NYS senate and assembly for a 10 year military buyback in the NYS Civil Service pension system. 2008年7月31日 · ive been to new york recently,and i could not see any cars with the clear lightbars i did see a esu unit with blue pods,i thought they used red/white only Back in the 80's the department tested in a few cars with blue & red pads, it didn't last, red & white was the norm.
