Combining killing with vents and Sabotage is highly recommended, as you will be able to enter and exit a location unseen except for by a victim, as long as you are careful enough. Since you move quickly towards the Crewmate when you kill someone, kills in large groups can be risky since other players could notice you moving when the kill happened.

There are currently seven roles in Among Us which are crewmate, impostor, scientist, shapeshifter, engineer, noisemaker, tracker, phantom, guardian angel, and ghost. Each role has different abilities, mechanics and goal to help/to win the game.
