I remember a few gymnastic lessons in elementary school where we took our shoes off, but socks stayed on. After doing some research, I found out that it’s common in the UK to do PE in bare feet.

2019年1月20日 · I nearly got my feet trampled there, a couple people made fun of me for that, mocking me and kicking my feet. I ended up being without shoes or socks, in my p.e. kit for 3 hours that day: brak time (I always arrived early) 15 mins, double dance lessons 2 hours, lunchtime gymnastics club 45 minutes.

For PE, the school doesn't allow the students to wear shoes, even sport shoes, for every sport. If they show up with shoes, they are told to remove them, because PE is done better with bare feet. They are even forced to remove their socks if they show up with some.

2023年3月20日 · Primary School - if it was indoor PE (Winter) then yes. It was barefoot in the school hall. Never went barefoot outside. Secondary - Always trainers even indoors.
