2020年7月6日 · a (proper) class D amp that claims 1600W per channel tests only marginally higher voltages into an 8ohms resistor than an old 400W AB amp (say 66V vs 56V) but when measuring the PA's SPL playing music, it registers an impressive +6dB. so something must be wrong somewhere...

2025年1月11日 · Also. I've experienced that newer versions of the EP amps sounds fine, seems to overheat more easily though - if you mod them with lower noise fans, and drive the amp hard. The t-amp seems to work well the short I've heard it. But their design added quite a bit of 'pops' when powering on/off - again if you try to mod them with low noise fans.
