2022年2月3日 · Yeah i remember the PS move but never got one coz of the limited number of games. I agree that the PS2 had more variety, but there were also some epic games for the ps3 like The Last Of Us, GTA 5, Uncharted 2, Skyrim, MGS4, Red Dead Redemption, etc. But then again, there were just so many ps2 games and a lot of them were unfogettable.

My favourite ps1 game would have to be Tomb Raider 2. I can still play it and enjoy it immensely. People may criticise the graphics, but for me the gameplay surpasses the modern TR games and many modern games for that matter, it's the perfect 3D adventure/action platformer.

Soul Edge (Blade in US) - Absolutely the best 3D fighting game on the console in NA. Star Gladiator - another great 3D fighter. Tobal 2 - often regarded as the best fighting game on the console, but Japan only Magical Drop 3 - arcade-faithful puzzle game. Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo - best puzzle game on the system IMHO.

I've been revisiting a bunch of old PS1 games and I'm finding that some definitely have definitely aged better than others. When you take off the rose-tinted glasses and look beyond the fog of nostalgia, some were clearly cut of a different cloth. I've found some common problems that tend to spoil the experience of revisiting old games...

Good PS1 emulators like Duckstation have a profile for this controller, which allows for analog throttle and steering at the same time. Pro tip #2: The game is quite buggy and was never fully patched in later releases, which among other things prevents 100% completion.
