Calgary Police Service (CPS) is the municipal police service of the City of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It is the largest municipal police service in Alberta and third largest municipal force in Canada behind the Toronto Police Service and the Montreal Police Service .

Members of the Calgary Police Commission are appointed by Calgary City Council and the Government of Alberta in accordance with the Alberta Police Act. The Commission is made up two city councillors and 10 community members, three of which are appointed by the province.
