I think DTS has punchier bass delivery. On laptop, my Scar 15 has a custom Dolby Atmos setting (dynamic) that makes any pair of headphones sound louder and more detailed.

2013年7月11日 · It's not meaningful to compare a lossless dts-MA track to a low bitrate DD 5.1 version. I believe the OP is asking about differences between lossy DTS and DD 5.1. As for volume, Dolby uses a bit of metadata called Dialog Normalization, which usually telles the decoder to lower the volume by 4dB. That's why Dolby generally sounds quieter than DTS.

2011年6月19日 · DTS (the company) is fully independent of Dolby, and offers DTS (the codec) and DTS Neo:6, DTS (the codec) is the prime competitor to Dolby Digital while Neo:6 is the prime competitor and rough equivalent to Pro Logic II. DTS (the company) doesn't really offer anything comparable to Pro Logic. As far as what you "should" use, thats your own choice.
